NEED FRESH IDEAS FOR YOUR PROJECTS?
.
Sometimes we faced “creators” block and cannot move faster than we could. We’re just short of ideas to move on in our projects. What’s worse is, when the deadline is getting closer and closer. THE BOSS is uneasy and kept asking us on the progress. He kept reminding us the deadline. Our job could be on the line. The tension is just so great. Can we sleep well? Have no fear. Let’s get kicking. This could your key to a trail-blazing career.
Here’s the place to start and get fresh ideas for your projects. The Second Life virtual world will trigger your hidden creative talents and provide deeper insights for your projects.
Here’s why.
.
Everything in Second Life is created by a real community.
.
Everyone sets the environment, the objects, the trees, the place, the activities, the look, the feel, the sound and the ambience for their virtual world.
.
You’re actually interacting with real people behind those moving 3D Avatars. It is experiential learning.
The fantasy doesn’t come from a sole script writer or a movie-maker’s team in Hollywood. The fantasy comes from a group of REAL PEOPLE around the world. It is richer, enriching and has the real touch of life in it.
If you inject solid insights into your content from experiential learning, it will touch the heart and soul of the audience. I’m not surprised if your project became the next big hit in the market !
When you explore the virtual world in Second Life, it helps to spark creativity and innovations for projects such as:
1. Animated TV Program
2. Elements for Presentations
3. Engineering Modeling
4. Training Simulations
5. Planning & Staging
6. Props Design
7. Interior Design
8. Market Testing
9. Computer Games
10. etc etc etc
The phrase, Content is King, can be interpreted to mean appealing and desirable content to the audience – TV viewers, radio listeners, web site visitors, readers of printed publications as well as participants in presentations, seminars, lectures, conferences, events and exhibitions.
.
Creative works such as text, graphics, animations, images, sound and video or a package of them like products and services are considered as content.
Here is a comment by Rahel Bailie, an international content development expert, which sums up the current state of oblivion by most industries about content.
” Organizations invest tremendous resources on developing the framework for great user experience – fabulous design, robust content management infrastructure. Yet when it comes to content itself, there’s often a gap. The end result is that the value proposition for customers can’t be delivered because the content is insufficient, inadequate and inappropriate. ”
This means, against a backdrop of today’s hi-tech infrastructure, there are not enough content available in the market that could satisfy the audience. This means great opportunities for content developers. But are the content adequate ( in-depth ) and appropriate ( quality ) ?
To produce high quality content for the audience requires strategy. Before starting any creative project, there are 2 important questions that must be answered first by content creators or producers – WHAT & WHY.
According to Kristina Halvorson, ” Content Strategy plans for the creation, publication and governance of useful, usable content. Content strategy helps you understand not only what content needs to be created and published, but why. “.
-
Kristina is the author of Content Strategy for the Web and the CEO of Brain Traffic.
The larger the audience or traffic to the channel, the better it is because it raises income potentials. Most organizations understood this pretty well. But are they delivering the right content to their targeted audience that will convert to sales?
The market is highly competitive and becoming more intense. With so many channels offering content out there to the same crowd, keeping a loyal audience is extremely difficult. Loyalty becomes secondary unless there are very good reasons for people to stay and keep coming.
Real Reasons People Come & Remain Loyal
The 2 key reasons for loyalty are Relevance and Usefulness. So even if you spent millions of dollars on a project, without both elements the end product may wow curious crowds initially but it will not retain them for long. In addition to the 2 key reasons, there are other contributing factors to look at. We will discuss them further in the blog.
For anyone who is just starting out, it is better to consider expert opinions seriously. It helps us to rethink and revise our steps so that resources are put into productive use and not wasted. If it worked well for them, it may work for us too.
My take. The current mantra is TRAFFIC, TRAFFIC, TRAFFIC… But bringing traffic alone is only half the effort. Content offered to the crowds must also be relevant, useful and of quality.
If the audience are satisfied with what we have to offer, they will usually talk about it in their social network – offline and online. Content can only be King when the audience love it. And if they hate it, they will also talk about it. Then the King will be a pauper soon.

Ooooooooo. the latest hotties raging like wild fire. Kindle is taking the market by storm with 2 latest editions at budget pricing. Good for everyone.
Seems Amazon had hit the jackpot again. Both editions are being snap up in the market – online and offline. The 6″ screen is very comfortable to read from like paper. Anyone can read it even in bright sunlight with its non-glare e-ink. E-Ink ??? I wonder what they would think off later on.
The good thing is both Kindles can hold a whopping 3,500 books. How about content? Kindle content is a magnitude of 630,000 books and magazines and growing by the week.
Kindle casings and accessories are there to satisfy unique user flavors and needs.
Its hot, its cheap, its delicious, its revolutionary. No wonder everyone is talking about it and snapping KINDLE up. They bought Kindles for themselves and for gifts. Check them out
